Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

MakeryPro has no accounts and no MakeryPro server. It collects as little as it needs to work.

• Your library. Model files, designs, tags, collections and spool records stay on your Mac — in the folders you choose and in the app's own storage. We never receive them.
• Purchases. Apple processes payment. We use RevenueCat, a subscription service, to confirm whether MakeryPro Plus is active. It receives an anonymous identifier created by the app and your App Store purchase receipts. We never receive your name, Apple ID, card or billing address.
• Support messages. If you email us, we keep your email address and what you send so we can answer.
• Diagnostics. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your Mac's settings, Apple sends us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics.

2. How we use it

We use this information to run the app, confirm and restore your purchases, fix crashes and answer support requests. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't build profiles about you.

3. AI features

AI search and auto-tagging are optional and off until you add an API key from a provider you choose — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or Groq. Your key is stored in your Mac's Keychain.

When you run an AI action, the information it needs — such as file names, tags and preview images — is sent directly from your Mac to that provider, under that provider's privacy policy. It doesn't pass through any MakeryPro server.

4. Websites you ask it to check

When you add a site to your watchlist, or ask MakeryPro to open or fetch a link, your Mac requests that page directly. The site sees an ordinary visit from your internet connection, just as it would from a browser.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. It reaches others only here:

• Apple, for purchases and, if you allow it, crash reports.
• RevenueCat, to confirm your subscription status.
• Your AI provider, only when you run an AI action with your own key.
• Cloudflare, which hosts makerypro.com.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

6. Tracking and ads

MakeryPro shows no ads and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. makerypro.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request information, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

Everything MakeryPro stores on your Mac stays until you delete it or remove the app. RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as they're needed to verify your subscription. Support emails are deleted 24 months after the conversation ends.

To delete everything, remove the app and its data from your Mac, and email us to erase any support history.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR and California law — you can ask to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. You can turn AI features off at any time by removing your key in MakeryPro's settings, and turn off analytics sharing in your Mac's settings.

9. Children

MakeryPro is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Security

Your AI keys are kept in the macOS Keychain, connections to AI providers and to RevenueCat are encrypted, and your library never leaves your Mac unless you send part of it to an AI provider yourself.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect.
